The BC curriculum to me are goals that educators have for the students. The BC Curriculum was created to allow children to learn in multiple ways and create personal connections to their learning. The meaning behind the curriculum is a guide for educators to know what their students should be learning and where they are with their learning. It can also be used as a guide to understand where your students fall in the curriculum and grade level. The curriculum is important because it allows a universal understanding for what each grade level should be learning and what the students prior knowledge may be.
