This is a photo of our classmates participating in our science project. For our groups project we taught about deforestation and then gave all the students an opportunity to plant their own trees to take home and then plant out in the community.
This is our first semester in our teaching program with our very first cohort. This semester means a lot to me as we created amazing bonds with other future educators and are able to learn from one another. It also is personal to me as it shows my growth in my journey.
I chose this gif as it describes being a teacher perfectly. A lot of people think teachers know everything and they must know everything to a good teacher. That is false, you are always learning no matter who you are, especially teachers! Those teachers that are the best teachers for their students are the ones who are continually learning and adapting their practice. By continually learning you are doing a service for your students as you are growing with your students. It is so important to remember you are never done learning regardless of your age!
